In a heartening development, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) proudly announced on Saturday that 91 individuals with disabilities (PWDs) have successfully completed their social and vocational training at the National Vocational Training Center.
The graduation ceremony served as a poignant reminder of the resilience and determination exhibited by these graduates in the face of challenges. DSWD Assistant Secretary Elaine Fallarcuna, reflecting on this achievement, remarked, “This milestone is a testament to their perseverance in overcoming challenges and their unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth. Throughout the duration of their training, the graduates immersed themselves in various courses spanning diverse fields such as housekeeping and janitorial services, computer literacy, massage and beauty therapy, and food preparation.
