The first-ever Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival was finally opened to the public after months of preparation and hard work from organizers and participating filmmakers. The official screenings began on March 15th at the Gateway Cinemas.
Ticket prices were set at P300, with discounted rates of P240 per film offered to PWDs, senior citizens, and students. Festival passes covering all films were also available for purchase at P2,000.
And just recently, the anticiapted awards night has culminated, making the short film ‘Last Shift‘ the Best Picture Short film in this season. Multiple wins have also recieve by films like “Kung Nag-aatubili”, “Text Find Dad and Send to 2366”, “Smokey Journey” in different categories.

It was a big win for Kurt Soberano‘s “Under a Piaya Moon” bagging not just the best Picture but also five (5) other categories. “Pushcart Tales” by Sigrid Andre P. Bernardo was also a hit getting a special Jury award and 5 more from different categories.

Taking place from March 15 to 19 at the Gateway Cineplex 18 in Araneta City, Cubao, the debut edition of the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival showcased six captivating full-length movies alongside 25 short films.
