A second UNIQLO and Ghibli collaboration collection exclusively for Southeast Asia
The highly anticipated new UNIQLO collection will be offered exclusively in stores and online at UNIQLO.com across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. This captivating collection, consisting of 27 beautiful objects, beautifully blends iconic art from the famous works of Studio Ghibli with the creative designs of talented Thai artists. Kanyada and the masterful skills of Studio Ghibli’s longtime Producer, Toshio Suzuki.
Catering to fashion lovers of all ages, the collection is available in men’s, baby, and toddler sizes, ensuring everyone can share in the magic. With a variety of offerings, this line features not only trendy T-shirts but also chic shirts, comfortable sweatshirts, and comfortable socks. Start of Bugis+ special events in Singapore
Along with the anticipated launch of the collection, a series of exciting events await Studio Ghibli fans of all ages. Starting August 17, a unique film festival paying tribute to the collection will take place at the Golden Village cinema in Bugis+, Singapore. This festival promises six free screenings of beloved Studio Ghibli films, providing an immersive cinematic experience for all attendees.
In addition, Bugis+ will host a limited-time stamp rally, inviting visitors to embark on a fun adventure. In addition, there are specially curated photo areas that feature iconic scenes from “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Far Away Spirit,” create picture-perfect moments for fans of affection. Adding to the excitement, visitors will be amazed by large models of beloved characters such as Totoro and Ponyo, who are delighted by their presence.
For some shops in Southeast Asia, fun activities are available for children to participate in the magic of Ghibli. Young artists have the opportunity to sketch one of Ghibli’s iconic Dust Bunny characters, with their creations displayed on an art wall, fostering a sense of creativity and community. Kanyada Phatan

Artist from Thailand. “From Pak Thong Chai” serialized in the monthly booklet “Neppu” published by Studio Ghibli in Japan. He contributes a photo and poem each month. He is the author of “The Story of the Ghibli Museum” and co-author of “Goro, Where are you from, Where are you going?” and “Words of Wisdom I Heard from Ghibli’s Suzuki About Work.” (Both are published in Japan). In 2022, he published “CANADA”, a collection of photos of the beautiful scenery of Pak Thongchai, Thailand.
Toshio Suzuki

Born in Nagoya in 1948. After graduating from Keio University Faculty of Letters he joined Tokuma Shoten Publishing. After working on a weekly magazine “Asahi Geino” he participated in the launch of the monthly animation magazine “Animage”. While serving as deputy editor and editor-in-chief, he was involved in the production of Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki works, including “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”, “Grave of the Fireflies”, and “My Neighbor Totoro”. Participated in the establishment of Studio Ghibli in 1985 and has been dedicated to Studio Ghibli since 1989. Since then, he has done almost all the theatrical works. Currently, he is the Representative Director and Producer of the Studio.
