In a recent interview, Hernando emphasized the importance of discovering one’s origins and embracing one’s cultural heritage. He stated, “Paano to Pinoy aims to encourage viewers who want to learn more about their own culture and other cultures. By expanding our knowledge, curiosity, and appreciation, we also develop our capacity to love.”
With Hernando in the show are his children, Gabby and Preston, with limited knowledge about Filipino culture. The inclusion of games and challenges in the program is intentional, allowing children to participate and learn about Filipino culture in a fun and interactive way.
