AN IMPORTANT event was sponsored by the Royal Knights Eagles Club, an organization based in Cagayan de Oro dedicated to environmental conservation.
The active participation of these organizations can be attributed to the sincere invitation given by Jhonmark C. Oligario, the School Head of Cosina Integrated School.
Oligario expressed his gratitude to the participating organizations for their unwavering support in the joint effort to protect and preserve the Earth by planting trees.

During the event, members of the Royal Knights Eagles Club planted Golden Trumpet seedlings, symbolizing their commitment to developing a greener future.
The simultaneous tree planting event took place on June 24, 2023, as volunteers from various organizations gathered at designated locations across the country.
Eric Daabay, the President of the Royal Knights Eagles Club, praised Oligario for his outstanding support to their cause and praised the active participation of the aforementioned organizations under the leadership of Oligario.

Daabay emphasized the importance of collective action in responding to environmental challenges and expressed his appreciation for the commitment shown by all participants.
“The event serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to address deforestation and climate change,” Oligario said.
He said tree planting initiatives play an important role in mitigating the adverse effects of environmental degradation, such as soil degradation, loss of biodiversity, and air pollution.
By joining forces, these organizations show their dedication to creating a sustainable future for future generations, according to Oligario.
While Daabay said that the efforts of Cosina Integrated School, Kabalikat Civicom, Cosina Barangay Council, Parent Teacher Association officers, and Boyscout of the Philippines show the power of collaboration and community participation.
“By working together, they not only enhance the landscape with new trees but also raise awareness about the importance of preserving nature,” explained Daabay.
The impact of this tree planting activity in the entire country will go beyond its results, he said.
Every sapling planted has the potential to become a thriving tree, contributing to the restoration of ecosystems, the capture of carbon dioxide, and the provision of habitat for countless species.
In addition, this collective initiative encourages others to take action and actively participate in environmental conservation efforts.
At the end of the event, participating organizations including those from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao expressed their commitment to continue their efforts to protect the environment.
They pledged to develop a culture of environmental awareness within their respective communities and to explore more collaborative projects that promote sustainable practices.
The active participation of these organizations throughout the country in the tree-planting activity sponsored by the Royal Knights Eagles Club is a shining example of individuals and organizations coming together to combat environmental challenges.
Finally, like Daabay, Oligario explained that their dedication and spirit of cooperation serves as an inspiration to others to join the cause and work towards a greener, more sustainable future.
