IN a concerted effort to protect the environment, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines recently led a nationwide tree planting campaign.

As one of the esteemed goals of the fraternity, this initiative aims to protect mother Earth by planting trees. Ordered by ORDER, all members enthusiastically participated in the event.

Members from the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles throughout Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao actively participated in the extensive tree planting effort.

Key locations in Luzon, such as Pampanga, Benguet, and Cavite, have been identified as areas for this eco-conscious initiative.

The idea for the nationwide tree planting activity started when Eagle Eric Daabay, the President of the Royal Knights Eagle Club in Cagayan de Oro City, observed the decline in tree planting practices within the Fraternal Organization.

He then contacted the various Eagles Regions, proposing the concept of a simultaneous tree planting activity across the country.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to the realization of this ambitious endeavor.

Daabay emphasized the importance of planting trees, saying that it provides an additional protection for our dear mother Earth.

He further emphasized the importance of replacing the trees cut due to deforestation for settlement purposes.

“Trees play an important role in preventing soil erosion, maintaining ecological balance, and creating clean and fresh air,” said Daabay.

With the success of this initiative, members look forward to regular tree planting activities to ensure the growth of more trees.

Marking a significant date in the calendar, the 3rd Saturday of June each year is designated as the annual joint tree planting event across the country, supporting various tree planting efforts that are carried out sporadically. .

Daabay explained that the nationwide tree planting effort of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines signifies a commendable commitment to the preservation of the environment, emphasizing the collective responsibility to protect our planet for future generations.

“The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines has always been committed to environmental causes, and this nationwide tree planting campaign is just one of the many initiatives they have taken to protect the environment,” emphasized Daabay.

He said the organization believes that planting trees is an effective way to mitigate the effects of climate change, reduce carbon emissions, and provide habitat for wildlife.

The campaign is not limited to just planting trees. Eagles members are also tasked with maintaining the trees they plant, ensuring their survival and growth.

The organization hopes that this campaign will inspire more people to take action and do their part to protect the environment.

One of the main goals of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines is to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.

Through this campaign, the organization hopes to educate people about the importance of trees and their role in the ecosystem.

Eagles members also shared their knowledge and experience in tree planting to local communities, encouraging them to join the campaign and plant trees in their own areas.

The campaign was a huge success, with thousands of trees planted across the country. Eagles members were joined by local volunteers and government officials in planting the trees.

The campaign was also covered by the media, raising awareness about the importance of tree planting and the efforts of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines.

The organization plans to continue its environmental advocacy through various initiatives, including waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable living.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines believes that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility, and each individual has a role to play in protecting the environment.

The campaign received positive feedback from various sectors, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. Many expressed their support for the initiative and the efforts of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines to protect the environment.

“The tree planting campaign throughout the country is not only about planting trees, it is also about building partnerships and developing collaboration in different sectors,” said Daabay.

He added that the Tmthe campaign brings together members of the Eagles, local communities, and government officials in a joint effort to protect the environment.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines hopes to inspire more people to act and contribute to the protection of the environment.

“Small actions can make a big difference, and together, we can create a more sustainable future for future generations,” explained Daabay.

The nationwide tree planting campaign is a testament to the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippines’ dedication and commitment to protecting the environment.

According to Daabay, through their actions, they show that protecting the environment is not just a goal, but a way of life.
