A senior citizen and a widower from Naawan, Misamis Oriental were arrested by the police who are facing three counts of statutory rape in court yesterday at 7 pm.
The suspect was identified as Abundio Sabandal, 66, a carpenter and resident of Purok 4. Sityo Mahanggub, Barangay Lubilan, Nawan
The suspect, who was identified by the police as the 6th most wanted person in the province, was arrested at his residence through an arrest warrant.
The judge did not allow the suspect to be released on bail for the latter’s temporary release.
He is now in the custody of the Naawan police for proper disposal.
