ILIGAN City ― Security matters are in place and ready for the mayor’s State of Iligan City Address (SOICA).
Police major, Zandrex Panolong, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police in this city said that around 150 policemen were used for the stated purpose even though there are force multipliers, such as BPAT, or barangay police action teams, etc.
City mayor Frederick Siao’s SOICA will be held at the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology grounds in the afternoon today, July 21, and the public and private people who will witness it will also be heard on the air. He will discuss the Iligan Development Goals (IDG) of the city and things like development for the city in peace and order, garbage collection, water delivery services, investment direction, and others.
It has been a long time since addresses like this have been witnessed and heard by the people. It used to be known as SOCA or State of the City Address.
