CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy is dedicated to providing good education to all, especially those in remote barangays.
“He (Uy) knows that education is important for every child, and he wants to make sure that all students have an equal chance to succeed,” said the chief of staff of the City Mayor’s Office, Shiela Lumbatan.
Under the leadership of Mayor Uy, Lumbatan said that they are doing a lot to improve education in these remote areas.

He said that they are collaborating with different organizations and businesses, such as the Toyota Dealers Association Philippines (TDAP), to help schools in rural communities and make learning better.
TDAP recently worked with the Dungoan Integrated School in Tignapoloan to support the education of rural youth. With the help of Toyota Cagayan de Oro Inc., they have done a lot to improve education in the region.
Because of the support from TDAP and Toyota Cagayan de Oro Inc., the students of Dungoan Integrated School now have better facilities, more learning resources, and a better place to learn, according to Lumbatan.
By helping the students today, TDAP and Toyota Cagayan de Oro Inc. are also helping them. They know that education is important for young people and can help them escape rural poverty.
Mayor Uy is grateful to TDAP and Toyota Cagayan de Oro Inc. for their dedication to helping rural youth get a good education.
“Their partnership shows how different groups working together can make positive changes and help communities,” Lumbatan said.
In the recent donation ceremony at Dungoan Integrated School, TDAP donated essential school supplies such as tables with chairs for students, a set for teachers, hygiene kits, and food packs.
These things will help the students of Dungoan Integrated School and give them a good future.
Mayor Uy appreciated the partnership between TDAP, the school, and the teachers who do important work with the students.
“TDAP’s generosity should encourage other organizations to help rural youth to get a good education as well,” said the mayor.
Mayor Uy’s commitment to provide quality education for all, especially in remote barangays, shows his dedication to providing equal opportunities and a good future for all, said Lumbatan.
“With the support from partners like TDAP and by working together, Mayor Uy’s goal of accessible and good education for all has become a reality,” he said.
