DIGOS City ― An 18-year-old disabled person was hospitalized after being stabbed several times by his brother following a simple misunderstanding, according to a police report.
According to the police, 20-year-old Murphy Navarroza arrived at their residence on Wednesday night in Purok-4, Barangay San Agustin, Digos City, apparently under the influence of alcohol.
Moments later, Murphy and his brother Johnkarl engaged in a verbal dispute during which the former became wild, the report said.
When Johnkarl entered the room to check on Murphy, he was attacked with a 12-inch kitchen knife that hit the younger brother in the right leg, left elbow, and back of the body.

He is in stable condition despite the injuries sustained by his drunken brother.
On the other hand, the police also arrested the suspect and placed him in police custody pending the inquest proceedings.
