The much-anticipated annual Acer Day celebration is back with an even bigger, more exciting line-up of activities. With greater promotions of Acer products, the brand has set bolder goals to provide innovative products that improve productivity and elevate the digital experience. This year’s theme, #AceYourWorld, is about empowering and inspiring individuals to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Acer Philippines is also organizing an Acer Day concert on August 6, 2023, at the SM MOA Arena headlined by Asia’s Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo and DonBelle, who are undoubtedly two of the hottest young multi-hyphenates today.
Because of its theme of #AceYourWorld, Acer Philippines announced that Sandara Park, also known by her stage name Dara, will participate in the Acer Day concert as one of its ambassadors.
“Dara really fits the theme of this year’s celebration because she is an ace who has won stages all over the world with her talent and beauty. Young people look up to him because he achieved his dreams despite whatever challenges he went through,” said Sue Ong-Lim, General Manager of Acer Philippines.
Dara studied in the Philippines and became famous here by searching for a reality show. He moved to his native Korea and joined the group 2NE1, one of the bestselling groups of its time until its disbandment in 2016.
Dara continues to be active as a performer and variety show host. She is respected and admired as Korea’s favorite nun due to her beauty and kind personality. Despite his fame, Dara never forgot the Philippines. He continued to visit the country and maintained his friendships with the people who became part of his life here. Dara is called the “Pambansang Krungkrung ng Pilipinas.”
Dara’s solo mini album “Sandara Park” was released on July 12. The album contains five songs, including the title track, “Festival.” This is Dara’s first album under Abyss Company.
