Cañosa said that the city government of Gingoog is celebrating this year’s Charter Day and the Grand Kaliga Festival for the second time since the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“There will be more people witnessing this annual celebration of the City Charter Day and Grand Kaliga Festival because almost everyone (already) has been vaccinated,” said Cañosa.
The lined up activities will be managed by the Gingoog City Tourism Council, chaired by Jose L. Bollozos III, and the Gingoog City Heritage Culture and Arts Council chaired by Cañosa and co-chaired by Maggie Tse.
Cañosa said that the celebration is a cooperation of the Sangguniang Panlungsod led by Vice Mayor Thaddeus Lugod and the entire bureaucracy of the city government.
