The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), through its social development arm, will hold a Financial Wellness Fair, a platform to showcase some of the individuals and communities that have benefited from the development programs of the BPI Foundation. With the theme “Kasama Lahat sa Pag-unlad,” the fair, part of the 45th anniversary of the BPI Foundation, will be held from July 20 to July 23, 2023, at the Palm Drive Activity Center in Glorietta 2, Makati City.
In line with BPI’s overall vision of building a better Philippines, the Financial Wellness Fair embodies the bank’s vision to contribute to nation building – one family and one community at a time. The event will serve as a platform to showcase various booths, activities, and programs that bring to life the inspiring stories of BPI Foundation’s partners and beneficiaries, while also providing market access for their products and services.
Key highlights of the fair will include the Sinag Sari-Sari booths, where visitors can explore and avail themselves of food, eco-friendly bags, and household items made by social enterprises supported by BPI Foundation. In addition, the fair will feature DOST-STARBOOKS, an educational resource hub that offers a wealth of knowledge for schools.
There are Technical Vocational Training Sessions in Gourmet Tuyo Production and Liquid Soap Production aimed at empowering participants with valuable vocational skills. Financial Education Sessions will also be held to equip the poor communities from Makati and Pateros with important financial literacy knowledge.
At its core, the Financial Wellness Fair aims to build a culture of financial wellness to help create inclusive and sustainable communities.
