Following the viral success of their hit track “first dance” Filipino pop-rock band NOBITA continues their impressive momentum with yet another commercially promising song.
Their latest single, “Butterfly That Is Forever,” utilizes the band’s musical strengths, mixing heartfelt lyrics with soulful harmonies and catchy arrangements. True to their signature style, NOBITA’s new release strikes a chord with its raw vulnerability, resonating with listeners on a personal level.
In a statement, the chart-topping band shared, “Ang Paruparo Na Walang Hanggan is a song dedicated to those who firmly believe in love, regardless of the challenges they have faced in the past. The main hook and several melodic lines flowed quickly during one of our rehearsal sessions for an event. It feels like they are unconsciously released from within us. “
While the essence of the song lies in its love-driven theme, “Paruparo Na Walang Hanggan” takes a more intricate sonic direction, incorporating layers of choral elements, delicate keyboard textures, and bluesy chords to create a slightly unconventional sound. With frequent collaborator Isagani Palabyab co-producing the track, NOBITA successfully blends traditional kundiman sensibilities with a modern flair.
NOBITA further added, “We take pride in creating songs that allow our audience to feel the emotions we pour into our music, while also creating melodies and lyrics that are easy to remember from the first listen. We are grateful to Isagani took this vision and created something a little different, but still reflecting our signature sound.”
“Paruparo Na Walang Hanggan” will be performed in their upcoming six-city tour across the United States, starting on August 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada and ending on August 26 in Fairfax, Virginia. Tickets for the tour can be purchased at www.ToggleSwitchPH.com.
