
The UPLB Development Communicators’ Society Inc.the first and foremost academic organization of UPLB College of Development Communication (CDC), has continuously demonstrated the importance of pursuing academic excellence and campus leadership since 1972. Serves as a place for exceptional Development Communication students to use their minds and skills, further expanding the goals while supporting the values of Development Communication—Communication. for Social Change.
With the theme “GOLDEN HOUR: 50 years of Dedication Camaraderie Service,” The UPLB Development Communicators’ Society witnessed 5 decades of dedication, friendship, and service in 2023. UPLB DevComSoc celebrates this great event through extraordinary events spread throughout the months of March and April.
UPLB DCS OPENING
To commemorate the organization’s 50 years of legacy and excellence, the opening event of the Anniversary Week is this exhibition that will take place on the CDC premises. The exhibit panels show the history and highlight the 50 years of the UPLB Development Communicators’ Society. It will be displayed in the hallways of the CDC for public viewing.
MINI OPEN ADVICE AND FREE PHOTOCOPY
The second event for Anniversary Week includes a mini-open bar where food is available for everyone. Today, the organization will also hold a free photocopy where everyone can avail.
FREE RIDE
The Society will rent a jeepney that will tour the campus and provide free rides for students within the University at a specific time on the scheduled date of the event.
FREE COFFEE
In free coffee, free coffee is available to students throughout the day.
GRAND OPEN VISIT
The grand open tambayan will welcome various students and visitors throughout the University to immerse themselves in the culture of the Society to celebrate the organization’s 50th year. Free food and other performances will be witnessed during the event.
GRAND ALUMNI HOMECOMING
The Alumni Homecoming will serve as an event where Alumni members of the Society come together to celebrate and reminisce about the experiences they have had with the Society over the past 50 years.
