Kusina Valentin is named after Valentin Diaz — a Paoayeño. He became part of Jose Rizal’s La Liga Filipina, later he became one of the five founders of the Katipunan which sought independence from Spanish rule. He served in the revolutionary army and signed the agreement of Biak na Bato.

NOW I go again fi-feature at the restaurant I ate at. I’m still dreaming about the last time we ate. lol 😀 But the truth is, it seems like I can only eat real food now, just like me, everyday Fast food on THEN what to eat
But no, their food is just delicious.
For the second time, I returned to Ilocos Norte. It’s been a decade since my last step in Ilocandia, I don’t remember what we ate then, but one thing is certainI will never forget.
Except those tourist attractions that we travel somewhere, of course we travel here because of the food! It still tastes different legit and Empanda in May legit that Ilocos vinegar!. But that’s another story.
My real story is what we eat restaurant – the Valentin kitchen which is located right in front of the church in Paoay CHURCH. If I’m not mistaken soft opening they are and I’m sure they are click or it is known to tourists for the following:

LOCATION. As said, it is in front or next to the famous Paoay CHURCH. Atmosphere by the time you eat, you really want to eat. It is delicious to eat while you look inside this dining room, the historic Church you are visiting.

NO more You will take the view if the food is bad? but at this restaurant, they excel ANTICIPATION I am. Pinoy pinoy taste! I don’t like vegetables but I can eat fresh vegetables that are cooked properly. (because they say the vegetable is more nutritious if not overcooked). The plating is still beautiful. just check!
