In the Philippines, rice holds a special place in every meal, embodying warmth and familial bonds. Donburi, a beloved Japanese rice bowl dish, has captured the hearts of Filipinos with its simplicity and flavor. At Don Don Tei, guests can experience the true essence of donburi with a diverse menu that caters to all tastes and preferences.

Introducing Don Don Tei to Manila

Don Don Tei, a renowned Osaka chain also known as Kineya Don Don Tei, makes its debut in Manila at the 2nd Level of Robinsons Galleria (ADB Wing). This inaugural branch brings the authentic taste of Osaka to the heart of the Philippines, offering a cozy dining experience reminiscent of meals enjoyed in Japan.

    DON DON TEI MANILA

    Authenticity and Quality Guaranteed

Led by CEO Atsushi Mukumoto, Don Don Tei upholds the principle of “Easy Japanese,” offering delicious meals that are straightforward, affordable, and utterly satisfying. Each dish is meticulously prepared by trained staff, ensuring authenticity and quality in every bite.

At the event, I was able to get a taste of its authentic dishes first hand.

    A Culinary Journey to Osaka

Don Don Tei’s menu features a variety of donburi bowls, from classic favorites like Gyudon to innovative creations that cater to Filipino preferences. Tempura specials, including succulent Black Tiger Prawns and Ebi Tendon, showcase the delicate balance of texture and taste that defines Japanese cuisine.

    Enhanced Dining Experience

Upgrade your meal with options like Teishoku, which includes potato salad, green beans and carrots kobachi, and tsubozuke pickles, for a complete dining experience. Dive into the world of soba with options like Niku Soba, featuring buckwheat noodles in flavorful broth with beef slices and organic egg yolk.

Complement your meal with refreshing citrus drinks from Don Don Tei’s Yuzu series, featuring peach, raspberry, rose lemonade, and ginger beer options for a satisfying finish.

Sharing the Joy of Japanese Cuisine

As part of the Gourmet Kineya group, Don Don Tei is committed to sharing the joy of Japanese cuisine with the world. Through its expansion into the Philippines, Don Don Tei aims to offer a taste of Osaka’s culinary excellence to Filipino diners, ensuring each dish reflects authenticity and culinary heritage.
