In pursuit of breaking boundaries, TOMCAT – UST kickstarts its 3rd virtual launch on Media as Experience Authors (MAX)to showcase different roles in the media world through #ThePanoramaShift.
The power of the media reaches beyond the screens and leaves an impact capable of revealing panoramas. Through MAX, TOMCAT – UST provides a complete view beyond media defaults, showing how media has evolved and created movements over the years.
Since the event’s debut in 2018, MAX has continued to promote media literacy through responsible media consumption. This year, it focuses on the versatility of current media personalities who continue to contribute to the change and evolution that moves and influences the masses.
Bringing you a new set of respected media influencers, this year, Mark Meily, Patt Soyao and Susan Enriquez, are set to highlight MAX 2023 with perspectives on balancing multiple careers in media and the many opportunities that await them.
MAX 2023: Edge of Panoramas, aims to maximize the current trend of engaging in various roles in the industry by helping the audience explore different opportunities and shed light on its ability to empower change. o.
In its sixth year, MAX 2023 Director Alyza Celin, says this year’s event offers many more experiences and explores different types of content.
“The target audience for the event was studied to determine the learning potential of current and future communication technologies. It is critical to ensure that education and application are built to provide the audience with the skills and knowledge which is needed in a digitally-mediated era since MAX 2023 aims to provide the essential foundations for long-term literacy learning,” said Celin.
For his part, project head Reyant Luce noted that MAX will serve as a platform for people interested in learning about the inner workings of the media and possible career opportunities.
“This is an event where media enthusiasts and professionals are gathered for the purpose of achieving one goal – encouraging individuals who aspire to be one in the media industry through creative freedom,” he added.
Going forward, MAX will continue to ensure that viewers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge of the new media age, as they combat the various challenges that hinder the culture of truth-telling and progress.
